Pride & Protest Q&A
In 2020, a number of annual film festivals were cancelled due to the pandemic. As a result, a number of South Asian film festivals based in the US decided to unite to produce an online film festival. CoSAFF, the Coalition of South Asian Film Festivals, comprised of the following seven film festivals:
Pride & Protest was officially selected by all the members of CoSAFF and was shown at the festival. We also had a Q&A with the cast and crew! I was joined by Blaise Singh and Manpreet Dhindsa and the panel was chaired by Jigar Shah from the Chigaco South Asian Film Festival. We discussed the production of the film and our personal experiences in making and starring in Pride & Protest. You can watch the panel below.
